ConsultantCafé won the Breakthrough Business Award at last night's Queanbeyan-Palerang Business Awards.

I’m genuinely chuffed. According to audience feedback last night, I also looked completely surprised when the Hon. Kristy McBain MP called out our name. That would be accurate. We were.

The Breakthrough Business Award celebrates emerging businesses that demonstrate innovation, entrepreneurship, ambition, and contribution to the local economy.

ConsultantCafé started as a small idea: to share practical and ethical lessons consultants usually learn the hard way. To see that idea resonate with individual subscribers around the world and with our Corporate Special Blend clients has been both humbling and validating.

I want to thank Hayley, my wife, for her ongoing, steadfast support. I also want to thank Saskia Day, whose infectious enthusiasim and skills have made an immeasurable difference to the ConsultantCafe brand presence.

This recognition also belongs to the people who believed in the idea early, subscribed, shared articles, attended sessions, and supported a small Australian business trying to contribute something useful to the profession. Our corporate special blend subscribers (you know who you are) have also been a huge part of the journey, helping their teams build capability in a practical and sustainable way. Your support has allowed me to keep brewing the good stuff too....so thank you.
